Kim Kardashian's fourth child with Kanye West 'is a boy' claim reports

According to PEOPLE, the A-list couple will add another son, via surrogate, to their brood that already includes North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, one.

The Sun Online have contacted Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's reps for comment.

Last week, it was revealed they had found a new surrogate for their fourth baby after their previous surrogate La'Reina Haynes, who carried daughter Chicago, had a daughter of her own this Christmas.

La'Reina, who also has two sons, shared a number of photographs after the birth of her third child on December 25,

She captioned the shot: "Guess who gets to go spend Christmas with her brothers!!!!! Leaving the hospital soon!"

Sources claim Kim, who always wanted a big family, had one embryo left, a male, and has chosen a new surrogate for her little boy who will arrive "in very early May".

"Kim and Kanye wanted four children and didn’t want to wait to welcome another baby, so they chose to go with someone else," an insider told The Sun Online.

"She told friends she wanted La'Reina to carry her baby again but she fell pregnant unexpectedly and the timing didn't work out.

"La'Reina is now taking a break to look after her own newborn daughter and spend time with her husband and sons, but she's very happy for Kim.

"They got on incredibly well during her journey with Chicago and they have stayed in touch, Kim is hoping it goes as smoothly this time."

Kim and rapper Kanye even invited La'Reina to appear on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Although making an appearance on the series, she opted to keep her face blurred.
