Kelly Clarkson sings emotional cover of Whitney Houston's sad song Exhale as she copes with divorce

KELLY Clarkson belted out an emotional cover of Whitney Houston's ballad, Exhale.

Her latest, heartbreaking cover comes as she continues to cope with divorce.

Kelly covered Whitney Houston's “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” for her latest Kellyoke installment.

The song is from the1995 movie soundtrack for Waiting to Exhale.

Kelly ended the number commenting: “Ooh! Great soundtrack!”

Earlier this week, Kelly once again took on Aretha Franklin for her Kellyoke numbers.

The singer-turned-host wailed out the late legend's 1970 hit, Don’t Play That Song (You Lied).

She's recently also covered Chain of Fools and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.

Kelly also recently collaborated with Brandi Brandi Carlile for a cover of The Civil War's Poison & Wine.

She also recently covered Sinatra’s 1960s hit, These Boots Are Made For Walkin', for the Kellyoke series.

Kelly sang out: “These boots are made for walking, And that's just what they'll do.One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.”

Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon after seven years of marriage in June.

She hares daughter River Rose, 6, and son Remington, 4, with Brandon.

The Breakaway singer has requested the court enforce the couple's prenup, with court papers showing she denied a spousal support request.

Brandon responded without selecting to end support and instead checked "other" and listed "reserved."

Prior to announcing their divorce, Kelly and Brandon reportedly had issues for a while and "clashed on so many levels" after moving to Hollywood from Tennessee so she was able to film her talk show.
