ITV Loose Women: ‘I might break WIND’ Coleen Nolan causes studio chaos in bizarre moment

Today’s edition of Loose Women was jam-packed with all the usual debates and controversial topics.

It was hosted by Andrea McLean, and the rest of the panel was filled with Nadia Sawalha, Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Saira Khan.

Yet while the programme went ahead to discuss the news of the day, things suddenly took an unexpected turn and Coleen began taking part in an unusual new technique designed to reduce stress and anxiety and help adults return to the simplicity of being swaddled by their parents or in the womb.

The adult swaddling technique was demonstrated by the show’s guest Sophia, who proceeded to wrap up Coleen in copious amounts of white material akin to bandages.

Finding the entire experience very awkward, Coleen hilarious panicked as she was becoming more and more trapped in the fabric.

Realising Sophia was about to change her position and place her on her back on the floor, Coleen appeared to become even more nervous.

The audience were becoming more and more control during the hilarious demonstration, but none more so than when Coleen took her honest nature one step further.

“Are you gonna roll me back?” she asked Sophia suddenly. “I might break wind!”

The giggles intensified and the show was rapidly becoming in danger of losing the plot.

Luckily, Andrea was on hand to remind viewers: “I know we’re all laughing here, but I imagine in the right atmosphere, with soothing music, it would be very calming.”

Sophia continued to turn Coleen and began rocking her side to side in an upside down hedgehog position, prompting further panic from the panellist.

“Please tell me the camera angle’s not down there!” she shrieked.

“In all seriousness this is really relaxing,” Coleen later noted, trying to return to her duties.

Sophie grinned as she tried to restore order in the studio, and began further explaining the technique.

“When babies are born they get rocked, it’s very soothing, so it takes us back to that,” she said.

“I was the youngest of eight so I got shoved in a draw,” Coleen joked.

Finally bringing the amusing display to a close, Andrea thanked Sophia, and Coleen was quick to rip the swaddles off her clothes.

Today’s programme also saw Jake Quickenden appearing to discuss her latest projects.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
