Hollyoaks wedding destroyed as Shaq catches Nadira and Juliet in the act?

It’s a wedding that Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea) desperately wants to get out of – but the torn Hollyoaks bride to be never wanted her groom Shaq Quereshi (Omar Malik) to find out like this.

Nadira is struggling with her sexuality, and has thrown herself into planning her wedding, as she intends to marry Shaq despite not loving him.

But she can’t resist her feelings of growing love for her secret partner Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw).

With a very Bollywood-esque ceremony ahead for Nadira and Shaq, celebrations are afoot in the village.

But it all looks set to be torn apart in scenes that will air next week.

Again meeting for a passionate encounter, Nadira and Juliet are lost in a kiss when Shaq turns up to invite Juliet to his fiancee’s surprise hen do.


As Nadira hides, what a bummer that the surprise of her hen party has been ruined.

But is Shaq about to get a surprise of his own as a flustered Juliet struggles to maintain composure.

With Nadira crouched behind a kitchen cabinet, she waits for Shaq to leave.

But curses, Juliet spots her lover’s keys on the worktop and as Shaq chats to her, oblivious, she has to try and hide them without him noticing.

Will Shaq clock on and recognise the keys? If so, how can Juliet explain what they – and Nadira – are doing there?

There is destined to be devastation ahead as Hollyoaks boss Lucy Allan has promised ‘explosive’ scenes.

In a chat with Metro.co.uk, she has strongly hinted at the plotline reaching a major crescendo this summer.

‘We’ve got some extraordinary Bollywood moments coming up in the show, which we finished filming a few weeks ago, which we’re really proud of,’ she enthused when we caught up with her.

‘Invariably, you can expect Juliet to be explosive!’

Will she crash the wedding or accept that Nadira will never be with her?

Or will Nadira be the one to make a life-changing decision about her future?

Shaq could be about to take the decision from her hands…
