Hollyoaks teen Romeo Quinn will come face to face with his estranged dad James next week as the show revisits their story.
Romeo (Owen Warner) originally arrived in Chester to track down James – who currently has no idea that he even has a son.
Scared of being rejected, Romeo ultimately decided against introducing himself to his dad and has turned his attention to hosting illegal raves with Prince McQueen instead.
However, upcoming scenes will see Romeo finally pluck up the courage to get in contact with James, who is back in the village after a stint in jail.
As he continues to spend time with Prince and Lily, Romeo starts to open up about his father not wanting to know him, prompting the sympathetic couple to try to help.
Following some encouragement from his new friends, Romeo decides to bite the bullet and goes to see James again – with devastating results.
Still unaware of who he is, James is rude to Romeo when he finds him on his doorstep and slams the door in his face before he gets chance to explain.
Devastated in the aftermath of his encounter with James, Romeo makes the sad decision to leave the village and says his goodbyes. But is that the last we’ll see of him?
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
