Hollyoaks' Mandy Richardson considers a shock exit after Darren affair twist

Hollyoaks‘ Mandy Richardson will consider leaving the village for good after Darren Osborne’s latest decision devastates her.

Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) has been having an affair with Darren for the best part of a year and is even planning to leave her husband Luke to be with him.

But while Darren has committed to a future with Mandy, he’ll start to waver on his decision to break up with Nancy in upcoming scenes.

Mandy is left confused over Darren’s radio silence at the start of next week, especially as she’s just found out that Milo was responsible for the car accident that killed her mum.

Hurt that Darren hasn’t been in contact during such a difficult time, Mandy later confronts him at Price Slice, but soon realises that he’s having doubts over their affair.

Feeling conflicted, Darren ultimately decides to call things off with a devastated Mandy in order to focus on his marriage to Nancy.

Aware that Mandy’s situation is very different to his own, Darren advises her to leave Luke regardless – telling her to leave the village for a fresh start away from him.

Taking Darren’s words on board, Mandy later tells her daughter Ella to pack her things to leave, but could be stopped in her tracks when she learns a shocking truth about her stepson Ollie.

Still reeling from the breakdown of her fling with Darren, she later rejects his support when he tries to comfort her over Ollie.

Heartbroken, Mandy insists that she can’t forgive Darren for ending their relationship, but will she really leave? And is this truly the end for the pair?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
