Heartbreaking reason Charlotte Crosby isn't decorating for Christmas or buying presents revealed | The Sun

CHARLOTTE Crosby has revealed the heartbreaking reason she isn't decorating for Christmas or buying presents.

Geordie Shore star Charlotte, 33, was left devastated after the death of her grandmother Jean last November.

And it explains why she and her family have decided not to spend the festive period in their usual way this time around.

The TV personality said she's whisking her loved ones away to the Maldives on the big day – and she's not even decorating her house.

Charlotte told The Mirror, "We're gonna do a small little tree just for Alba's sake, like a little one that you put at the table.

"This is a first time abroad I've never done a Christmas away and we're not doing any presents. It's just about making some memories, like amazing memories, on a big family holiday.

mum's the word

I cried when I was mum-shamed but now nobody dares, says Charlotte Crosby

"We're going with my mum, my dad – just basically everyone who we would gather with on Christmas Day."

The influencer went on to admit "doesn't really enjoy Christmas" anyway and that it's made her feel "quite down" in previous years.

She added, "Obviously I've never liked Christmas but last Christmas was the worst. It was the first Christmas without my Nana – she had died a month beforehand – and just nothing felt the same."

At the time of her grandma's passing, Charlotte told fans: "I don’t think my world will ever be the same."
