Good Morning Britain in major format shake up as Susanna Reid leaves ITV studio

Good Morning Britain underwent a major format change when host Susanna Reid left the ITV studio – and appeared from a surprising location.

The presenter usually hosts the flagship breakfast show on weekday mornings between 6am and 9am with rotating male co-hosts like Richard Madeley and Tipping Point star Ben Shephard.

However, she was missing from her usual seat in the studio when viewers woke up on Monday morning (April 25).

That's because Susanna had travelled to Poland to report live on the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

She could be seen speaking to devastated families fleeing the war-torn country on the border, who told her heartbreaking tales of how their lives had been turned upside down by the conflict.

Instead, Susanna spoke to her co-stars such as Richard Madeley via video link, which threw up a few technical difficulties.
