Good Morning Britain presenter Gordon Smart told viewers he "knew a surgeon" for Joe Swash after his wife Stacey Solomon announced her fifth pregnancy.

Gordon, who hosted alongside Charlotte Hawkins, dropped the catty dig as new showbiz reporter Scarlette Douglas showed a clip of Stacey sharing the news with an ecstatic Joe.

After the clip played, Gordon stated: "I've got a surgeon for Joe if he needs one," making a cruel suggestion to the former EastEnders star.

Gordon's remark was met with gasps and an awkward silence from the studio, causing him to quickly apologise in between his laughs.

Loose Women panelist Stacey revealed her fifth pregnancy to fans last night after an unusual silence from the ITV host over Christmas and ahead of the New Year.

She shared the news via a heartfelt video clip where she showed Joe the positive pregnancy test, before adding the caption: "So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way…"

She continued: "A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for to the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy."

Stacey then took to her Instagram Stories to write: "I can't believe we are having another baby! We are sooo excited. I'm nervous for my noon, but so so excited."
