Emmerdale viewers have been anticipating the wedding of Will (played by Dean Andrews) and Kim (Claire King) over the past few weeks despite his ex Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) trying to intervene because of her feelings for him. However, Emmerdale spoilers reveal that the groom is set to make a mistake on his stag do which he’ll come to regret.

Last month, ITV viewers saw Harriet trying to put a wedge between Kim and Will in an attempt to stop the wedding from going ahead due to her hidden feelings for her ex.

As tensions between Kim and Will’s daughter Dawn came to a head when she threw her future stepdaughter out, Harriet saw her opportunity and expressed that if the wedding went ahead, he could lose his daughter for good.

Furious over the meddling, Kim told Harriet she needed to stop intervening between her and her fiance, although scenes this week will see her admit her love for Will.

It comes after Harriet sees Will’s shocked reaction when learning that she’s now dating Dan Spencer (Liam Fox).

Despite being in a new relationship, Harriet confesses to her friend Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) that she’s still in love with Will after all this time.

Knowing that Will is set to be married to Kim very soon, Wendy tries her best to convince her that she’s on the right track with her new romance.

However, with the wedding looming, it’s unclear if Harriet will be able to sit back quietly and watch her love marry another woman.

Elsewhere in the soap, Kim and Will are getting ready for their hen and stag parties while they both remain unaware of Harriet’s feelings.

With Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) laying on a big treat for Kim, Will heads out for celebrations of his own. However, Emmerdale spoilers reveal that he’ll end up doing something he may come to regret.

A new theory by Express.co.uk suggests that after he saw Harriet with her new partner, old feelings come rushing to the surface and he makes a confession of his own.

Could the groom-to-be be about to admit his feelings for Harriet despite being engaged to Kim? Or could he take it one step further by having one last kiss before he becomes a married man?

With the ITV soap heading into its 50th-anniversary month, there are some big storylines set to hit the residents of Emmerdale and potential heartbreak.

Actress Katherine Dow Blyton teased how the love triangle will all play out as she told Digital Spy that unsolved feelings between Harriet and Will could result in chaos.

She said: “She’s getting wrapped up in Will’s life, a little too much than she should be. That has an impact on his upcoming nuptials,”

“I’m really playing with fire there. But it’s the last chance saloon, she’s got to make her feelings known before he walks down the aisle and that’s it.

“Harriet is no Kim Tate but they are both feisty women and able to look after themselves, so there will be more fireworks. They will have their moments.”

Ahead of Emmerdale’s milestone anniversary, bosses are keeping pretty secretive about what people can expect to see.

Although it has been confirmed that some familiar faces are set to return as Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) and Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) will all be making a comeback.

Viewers also know that there is a disastrous storm about to hit the Dales with show producer Kate Brooks admitting that some of the residents on the show will be in peril.
