Emmerdale’s most evil villains from paedo Maya to killer Cameron Murray to scheming Kim Tate – The Sun

FOR a sleepy village, Hotten has no shortage of murderers, rapists and blackmailers.

Over the years the likes of Maya Stepney, Cameron Murray and Kim Tate have kept Emmerdale fans on the edge of their seats with their evil ways.

Dominic Power – who played Cameron Murray in the popular ITV soap from the years of 2011 to 2013 – scared viewers with his nasty ways after he went on to murder various people.

Emmerdale's very own gold digger, Kim Tate, has been on the soap since 1989 and shocked viewers when she trampled a man with a horse.

But we can't forget the more recent storyline which involved Maya successfully seducing her boyfriend's 16-year-old son.

Let’s take a look at Emmerdale’s most evil villains…

DI Mark Malone

The crooked copper, played by Mark Womack, is so badass he’s seducing Harriet the village vicar and even has brooding Cain Dingle on the ropes.

He put Harriet’s fiancé Will in hospital after he refused to do one of his many dodgy drugs and weapons runs and is still menacing his way around the community.

Cameron Murray

Debbie Dingle’s fella turned into a serial killer is one of Emmerdale’s most prolific killers.

Evil Cameron (Dominic Power) bludgeoned Carl King with a brick, killed Alex Moss and then suffocated Gennie Sharma after she survived a car crash.

His downfall came during a siege in The Woolpack when he failed to bump off Debbie, Chas and Marlon and electrocuted himself on a lightbulb instead.

Maya Stepney

Emmerdale’s child-grooming villain was jailed for preying on schoolboy Jacob Gallagher, but only served half her sentence.

But when twisted teacher Maya (Louisa Clein) returned the locals were out for revenge and she was the victim of a brutal attack.

Emma Barton

The evil nurse, played by Gillian Kearney, unleashed her mind games when she discovered her husband James had slept with Moira.

Who could forget Emma’s finest moment when she put on her wedding dress and pushed James off a bridge?

She also accidentally killed her son Finn, but was finished off by Moira.

Carl King

Dales bad boy Carl King (Tom Lister) tortured Chas Dingle, killed his own dad and specialised in blackmail and accidentally bumping people off.

He was out-villained by serial killer Cameron Murray, who lamped him with a brick.

Pierce Harris

Rhona’s evil ex raped her on their wedding day and terrorised her for months.

Pierce (Jonathan Wrather) returned to Emmerdale after a prison stretch to take Vanessa and little Johnny hostage before killing Rhona’s new boyfriend, Graham Foster.

Charity Dingle

Blonde schemer Charity (Emma Atkins) has never actually killed anyone, but she deserves her place on Emmerdale’s villainous list thanks to a lifetime of blackmail, manipulation and trouble.

She’s been framed for her husband’s murder, tried to sell her son for £20,000, made a living out of stealing cars and has done her time in prison.

Graham Foster

Emmerdale lost its mysterious man of evil earlier this year when he was killed by Pierce Harris.

Graham’s (Andrew Scarborough) achievements include emptying Kim Tate’s bank account, killing his wife and child through drink driving and being the centre of a whodunnit thanks to his many enemies.

Kim Tate

Gold digger Kim (Claire King) is the classic glamorous villain of the Dales.

She married Frank Tate for his money, but faked her own death when she realised he wasn’t rich enough.

She once trampled a man with her horse for discovering one of her affairs and eventually gave Frank a heart attack – and herself a hefty inheritance.

Steph Stokes

Ex-con Steph (Lorraine Chase) started her reign as Emmerdale’s queen of mean by doing the dirty with daughter Tricia’s boyfriends.

After trying to steal Rodney Blackstock’s priceless ornament and his heart she jilted him when she realised he wasn’t the rich husband she needed.

She pushed her own dad down the stairs and was jailed for her brother’s murder, even though she didn’t do it.
