Emmerdale viewers desperate for 'boring' Bob Hope homeless storyline to end

The barman – who is played by actor Tony Audenshaw in the ITV soap – has made multiple bad decisions that have left him homeless and almost dead on a park bench, but fans are sick of his pride getting in the way of him finding help.

One wrote: "Please why don't Bob be honest FFS seriously it's boring #Emmerdale"

A second added: "@emmerdale this Bob storyline is getting boring now.

"What signal is it given to Dad’s whose marriage ends and he has to leave the kids, business and house which are his for the step mother to take."

Another tweeted: "How long more can this boring Bob with no money storyline go on for? it's already dragged on too long.

"Sean's homeless with no money in @itvcorrie lasted all of 2 weeks. This one looks like it could drag out for months."

The down on his luck businessman was left for dead in tonight's episode when he slept rough in freezing conditions.

But the cold weather took its toll and he is found unconscious on the bench by vicar Harriet Finch.

Harriet is left screaming for help as she struggles to wake Bob up after realising something was amiss.

Calling for an ambulance she tells the operator she can't feel a pulse before adding: "It's my friend, he's been outside perhaps all night. He's blue and he's cold."

He was rushed to hospital and it looks like his secret money problems will finally be exposed and the storyline will be at an end.
