Emmerdale fans baffled at the Meena Jutla support group’s murder site location

EMMERDALE fans are baffled over the bizarre location the villagers have chosen to host a support group for the survivors of Meena Jutla.

The group began meeting this week at the HOP – much to the confusion of viewers.

They know the HOP is where Meena hunted down and brutally murdered Ben Tucker.

He had found the video of her attempting to drown Victoria Sugden but couldn’t work out it was Meena.

In his stupidity he asked her to watch it with him – and set the stage for his own death.

At first he escaped but she lured him back in, and then beat him to death with a canoe paddle.

The brutal murder site is now where the group of survivors all meet to discuss what Meena did to them.

But viewers can’t understand why they haven’t used another location.

Corrie bosses promise 'drama & intrigue' in new extended episodes

Coronation Street producers have promised the upcoming season will be filled with "drama, humour, twists and intrigue" in new hour-long time slots.

The changes were announced by ITV in January as Coronation Street is extended to hour-long episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm, while Emmerdale will move to a 7.30pm slot, directly clashing with BBC soap EastEnders.

Speaking about the upcoming storylines on Coronation Street, producer Iain MacLeod said: "It's an exciting time for the show and these stories will propel us into the hour-long era with a bang and all the characteristic drama, humour, twists and intrigue that Corrie viewers have come to expect.

"We've got high-octane action with tragic heroine Abi, leading to life-and-death dilemmas.

"We've got riotous romantic intrigue for Daniel, with deliciously dastardly Daisy pulling out all the stops to keep her man.

"We've got the uber-complex Gary, who has finally turned his life around and is atoning for his sins with Kelly, only to find himself facing a final reckoning with the ghosts from his past.

"And we've got heart-stopping, high-stakes drama for Sarah, featuring a knife-edge showdown between Adam and his tormentor Lydia, which will leave you wondering which one's the bad guy.

"All of this in one big serving per night. What's not to love?"

Emmerdale fans LIVID as ‘worst couple in soap history’ get engaged

Last night's trip to Emmerdale left fans shocked as the character decided to propose to Marlon Dingle.

While Liv and Vinny may have received some support, many Emmerdale viewers weren't happy about Rhona's upcoming grand gesture and voiced their opinion on social media.

"Oh god, nooooooooooooooooooooo The worst matched couple in soap history. Spare us", one Twitter user wrote.

"Marriage bloody hell Rhona you're moving a bit fast ain't you considering you fell out with him on Monday", another penned.

A third contributed with: "I feel like this Rhona and Marlon stuff would have been way cuter if he hadn't been treating her like garbage for the past week or so."

A fourth one added: "Rhona and Marlon literally weren't even talking 5 minutes ago. To go from that to actually proposing within 24 hours kind of seems a bit rushed does it not? Why now? A sudden wedding isn't really going to magically fix what's clearly already broken in their relationship sadly."

Another fan commented: "How long are we giving the marriage?" while a fellow viewer penned: "That means it will be disastrous then."
