The mechanic – who is played by actor Danny Miller in the ITV soap – tried desperately to convince the millionaire heiress to stay in the village with her son, and even tried to emotionally manipulate her into not leaving the village where her family was murdered.
He told her: "We know that you need a change, we get it and after what happened who wouldn't want to go?
"But Seb's been with us for months now. He's settle he knows us."
Viewers know how Rebecca was kidnapped and kept away from her baby by her evil nephew Lachlan, and Aaron used it as justification for keeping Seb away from her.
"You've both been through a lot and you'll be on your own.
"We love him, I know we had a bumpy start but we love him… but you're going to take him away from us, do you think that's good for him? This is where his family is and that's not just me and Robert. It's where his family is."
Viewers weren't impressed by his selfish behaviour over his step-son's mother.
One wrote: "I don't like how rob & Aaron are railroading Becca ant they understand all the bad history since she moves there???#Emmerdale"
A second added: "I don't like Aaron anymore. Emotially blackmailing someoe is not cool in my books. He is not Seb's bilogical father. Wish he would keep out of it. #emmerdale"
Another commented: "Ah how nice. Aaron going down the emotional blackmail route with Rebecca #emmerdale"
However another joked: "If I was Bex I’d punch both Robert and Aaron take Seb and leg it. #Emmerdale"
