EastEnders spoilers: Louise Mitchell to EXPOSE Keanu and Sharon’s affair in kidnap twist?

Louise (played by Tilly Keeper) was kidnapped at the end of Friday’s edition of EastEnders with her love interest Keanu (Danny Walters) taking his eye off the ball after the teenager’s father Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) ordered him to watch over his daughter.

Phil’s dodgy dealings with newcomer Danny Hardcastle (Paul Usher) prompted the criminal to send his henchmen to send the Walford bad boy a steak wanting by kidnapping Louise and holding her hostage.

Locked in a container at a shipment estate, Louise was tied up as Keanu arrived on the scene to try and rescue her after he alerted Phil his daughter was in peril on the BBC soap.

Taking his son Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), Phil arrived at the shipment estate, leaving his wife and Keanu’s former lover Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) to question who could’ve possibly kidnapped the youngster.

As the truth about Phil’s money laundering scheme began to unravel, Sharon was left in turmoil about how much danger she and the rest of the Mitchell clan were in, as well as worrying about the safety of her young lover.

It seems she would have right to worry as at the end of the episode, Keanu managed to track down Louise to the container she was locked in but didn’t realise Danny’s henchmen were behind him, knocking the mechanic unconscious.

With Louise and Keanu now locked in the container, it seems the two will have a lot to talk about if the mechanic comes around following his blow to the head as they try to make an escape from their prison.

Before Louise was kidnapped, she and Keanu were on bad terms after the mechanic’s reluctance to sleep with the teenager led her to believe he didn’t reciprocate her feelings, not realising her ‘boyfriend’ was romancing her under her father’s instructions.

If Keanu does come round, Louise will want to know exactly what Keanu’s part in her kidnap was, leading the mechanic to confess he was following Phil’s orders to keep watch on her but had failed when the pair had their tiff.

However, as tensions rise between the pair and it seeming ever more likely they could meet their maker, Keanu could be forced to admit he can’t get close to Louise for another reason; he was having an affair with her step-mother last year.

The storyline gets more complicated

If the pair are ever found, Louise could decide to get revenge on her step-mother and her toy-boy by telling father Phil the truth about his wife’s sordid secret.

Seething with anger already from his altercation with Danny’s henchmen, Phil could direct his rage towards Keanu as the mechanic fails to deny the truth having made the confession to Louise in the container.

However, what will this mean for Sharon as Phil returns home to confront her about her affair? Will the EastEnders icon be able to worm her way out of the situation, or is her past finally about to catch up on her?

Teasing the future of the long running affair plot at the beginning of the year in a video posted on the soap’s official Twitter page, producer Kate Oates said: “We’re going to make that a really, really big story next year.

“Things seem to be falling into place – he’s [Phil] in a really good place with Sharon… so he thinks. And actually, he becomes increasingly close to Keanu.”

The producer continued: “So as the storyline gets more complicated and messier, I think what is interesting is realising how far Phil is building up this affection for his family and the guy who works for him.

“And then just realising how further he will have to fall when he finds out the truth,” Kate explained.

Though, if the affair isn’t exposed and Keanu keeps his mouth shut, Phil could be looking closer to home as to why his daughter has been kidnapped.

During last week’s episodes of the BBC soap, Ben was seen trying to strike a deal with Danny suggesting the pair go into business together instead of the villain siding with Ben’s father.

Returning to the Square recently, Ben was hell-bent on getting revenge on his father for the wrongs of his past, but could his plan have gone one step too far as Louise ends up dead?

EastEnders continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
