Dancing with The Stars season 32 cast so far, start date and big host change

Ariana Madix confirms she’ll compete on Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With The Stars is returning to ABC and Disney+ sometime this autumn with a raring and ready-to-go class of celebrities.

Along with a new batch of celebs, there are also a few changes happening to the show itself.

Although many fans believed that Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribiero would resume their co-hosting duties, it appears there has been a shakeup.

While Alfonso will be making a comeback for season 32, in March, Deadline confirmed that Tyra will be stepping down as host for the popular competition show, with former pro dancer and judge Julianne Hough taking her spot.

As for contestants, who has been announced to be competing for the Mirrorball trophy this time round?

Who is in the Dancing With the Stars season 32 cast?

So far only two constants have been confirmed to be taking part in the upcoming Dancing With The Stars season, with the whole cast set to be revealed by September.

The first cast member to reveal themselves was Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix.

The Bravo reality star appeared on Good Morning America along with judge Derek Hough to announce the exciting news.

“This season on Dancing With the Stars, we are going absolutely mad, mad for Madix … Say goodbye to the drama, and say hello to the dance floor,” Derek said in a clip, filmed from her sandwich shop called Something About Her.

Ariana’s appearance on the hit reality show comes after a tumultuous season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, where she found herself in the midst of a bitter love triangle, which fans later dubbed “Scandoval.”

Although she is swapping the Hollywood hills for the ballroom, viewers may be excited to learn that she has won two dance national competitions before, according to her website – meaning it looks like Ariana could be in a good chance of winning!

The second celebrity set to put her best foot forward is The Bachelorette star, Charity Lawson.

Announced during the After the Final Rose segment of the emotional season 20 three-hour-long finale of The Bachelorette, Charity will be following in the footsteps of her predecessors Hannah Brown and Kaitlyn Bristowe.

As for the rest of the cast of Dancing With the Stars, the full roster will be announced on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 13.

When is Dancing With The Stars season 32 set to premiere?

There is no official premiere date for the upcoming season as of yet, but it is likely fans can anticipate that the show is going to be back next month.

While the start date is still being kept under wraps, the network’s fall schedule appeared to confirm the competition show will air on Monday nights from 8pm to 10pm ET.

Another exciting thing fans should note is that the series is returning to ABC after last year’s season was exclusively streamed on Disney+.

Dancing with The Stars will be available to stream on ABC, Disney+ and Hulu (the following day) later this year.
