Coronation Street spoilers: Sarah Platt terrified as mum Gail goes missing TONIGHT

SARAH Platt will be sent into a panic in tonight's episode of Coronation Street when her mum, Gail Rodwell, does a disappearing act.

Gail’s failure to come home comes after a frosty exchange with her mother Audrey Roberts who is angry that her daughter abandoned her at the hospital last week in favour of sons Nick Tilsley and David Platt.

And then just when Gail thinks things can't get any worse, son, Nick then tells her to stay away from him after his brother David does nothing to help him following an incident in prison.

And it’s daughter Sarah who’s worried when there’s no sign of Gail later that evening.

So where has she gone? And will she be back on the cobbles?

Later in the week, Sarah is forced to call the police and report her mum as missing, while a furious Audrey blames Nick and David’s feud for driving Gail away.

But while Audrey is blaming both the brothers, David points the finger very firmly at Nick.

Last week, tensions at the Platt household came to boiling point when a desperate Gail called a family meeting to try and sort things out between David, Nick and Audrey – who was fleeced of her £80k inheritance by her two grandsons.

But Gail’s peacemaking plans only made things worse as Nick and David were both arrested for breaking their bail conditions.

As a result both Nick and David are being held in prison, with the former coldly telling Gail to keep away from him in tonight's episode.

Corrie fans already know Audrey pressed charges against her grandsons after David confessed to his gran that his older brother stole the money while he helped him spend it by setting up Trim Up North.

The boys are due in court later this week where they will find out their fates, but not before nasty Nick double crosses his brother one last time.

After telling David that he’s going to tell the truth about the money, girlfriend Leanne Battersby pleads with Nick to stick to his original story because she and son Oliver need him around.

In upcoming scenes David will be floored when his brother pins the blame on him in court, saying he was the mastermind behind the theft. What ever happened to blood is thicker than water?
