Chloe Sims blasts Love Island stars who want to join Towie and says she's sick of people 'who aren't from Essex' joining the show

Essex-born Chloe has appeared in Towie since its second series in 2011 – and she's admitted she is "fed up" of non-Essex celebs being cast on the show.

Writing in her Star magazine column, Chloe, 36, seethed: "I don’t know what is going on between Chris Clark and Amber Davies, but I hope she doesn’t come on Towie.

"She’s definitely not from Essex and I’m fed up of people not from here joining us."

Speculation that show bosses are keen to snap Amber up started to grow after she was linked to cast member Chris Clark last month.

The pair were said to have enjoyed a string of dates over the summer, but Amber has since been pictured kissing swimmer Sid Howes.

Despite the intimate snaps, a source close to the star insisted that the brunette beauty is still very much single.

They told The Sun Online: "She's a young girl enjoying the single life."

Meanwhile, Love Island 2016 winner, Kady McDermott, made her Towie debut on Sunday night after confirming her relationship with Myles Barnett.

The star angered viewers when she reduced Myles' ex-girlfriend, Courtney Green, to tears when she confronted her on a night out.

The fact that Kady is originally from Hertfordshire no doubt riled Chloe – who is clearly determined to keep the show as authentically Essex as possible.

However, Kady isn't the only cast member to join from elsewhere, with best friends Shelby Tribble and Clelia Theodorou both from Plymouth.

The girls made their first appearance on the show earlier this year.
