She was rushed to hospital after being bitten in bed while at home.
Chantelle shared the horrific experience with her social media followers and posted pictures of her face.
She explained she woke up after feeling something on her face and realised it was a spider.
As the minutes passed Chantelle said her face and eye had started to swell.
The 28-year-old contacted a doctor who told her she needed to go to hospital for treatment.
Chantelle spent the day on a drip and after being monitored by medical staff was sent home.
Although the swelling on her eye has subsided, Chantelle’s face still appears to be very sore.
Her fans sent her supportive messages and Chantelle thanked them for being so kind.
It’s been a tough year for the reality babe, whose known for her love of sharing sexy pictures online, after she was declared bankrupt.
Official papers showed Chantelle asked to make herself insolvent.
Her financial troubles followed her GBH conviction for punching a woman in a brawl in Newcastle.
Last year she was found guilty of hitting a woman on a boozy night out in a jealous rage over her ex.
Chantelle was later fined £3,205 and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid work at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court.
After joining Geordie Shore during its twelfth series she shocked fans by announcing she was leaving in June.
She made the announcement on Twitter and wrote: “Fame and money isn’t everything… Health and happiness is!!”
However it seems she soon regretted her decision as she later said: “I walked away from the biggest opportunity of my life for love and I regret that.”
