Love Island fans all say the same thing as first look at new series airs during Britain’s Got Talent

LOVE Island fans were beside themselves as the first look at the upcoming season aired during last week’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The dating show phenomenon will start again next month and the unexpected teaser delighted fans.

It showed claymation scene featuring a person swimming in the pool doing ‘salmon dives’.

The teaser also paid homage to Millie Court’s iconic moment last season when she played the keyboard and instantly became a meme.

Declaring “Love we own it”, the teaser also played the series’ recognisable cutaway music, to the delight of fans watching at home.

“Love Island must be back we all know that tune,” tweeted one person.

Another added: “Just seen the first advert that love island is coming back soon…. And I’m absolutely here for it.”

“Just heard that magical noise of summer…”

Diversity set to return to BGT

    Good news everyone.

The award-winning group intends to return to the BGT stage in June’s series finale.

Jordan Banjo, 29, said: “We certainly hope to be back performing on BGT this year.”

It would mark a return to the show that made Diversity famous when they beat Susan Boyle in the 2009 series’ final.

Since then the group, which is led by Jordan’s brother Ashley, 33, have starred on everything from Dancing on Ice to The Real Full Monty.

ITV dismisses claims of ‘fixing’ following Sun investigation

BRITAIN’S Got Talent bosses have denied allegations the show is ‘recycling’ contestants from other shows – including old BGT episodes.

An investigation by The Sun found that of the sixty acts whose auditions have been screened on ITV this year.

Around fifteen of them have already appeared on a Got Talent show, have links to Simon Cowell and other BGT talent or came to the show as a ‘professional’.

“So we shouldn’t punish these people for trying to better themselves and utilise every platform on offer to showcase their talent.”

A BGT spokesman added: “All acts enter the competition with the hope of elevating their career to the highest level and help to reach massive new audiences which Britain’s Got Talent brings in.

“As we’re all aware, the pandemic affected so many lives, particularly those that work in the entertainment industry, and it is wrong to deny these people the opportunity to showcase their talents and entertain the nation, and ultimately perform in front of royalty at the Royal Variety Performance.

“As has always been the case, Britain’s Got Talent is open to everyone.”

Paralysed BGT star Jonathan Goodwin shares inspiring message

BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Jonathan Goodwin shared a new wheelchair picture and an inspiring message about “things going wrong”.

The escapologist, 42, is paralysed for life after a dangerous stunt went wrong.

Jonathan was performing a stunt on America’s Got Talent: Extreme where he attempted to escape from a straight jacket while being hung upside down 30 feet in the air in between two suspended cars.

But the brave star today took a mirror selfie from his chair and wrote an inspirational message to fan.

Posting the snap he said: “Take a breath and make a new plan.”

Jonathan then wrote: “When things go wrong, try not to panic.

“Take a minute, take a breath, and try to work out how to move forward.

“I’m not saying things can never be really bad, but sometimes it’s just that things aren’t fitting the plan we had in our head.”
