Ben Shephard was moved to witness his guest on Tipping Point, actress Sally Lindsay, burst into tears on this evening's episode.
Appearing on the celebrity edition of the show, Sally, who famously played Shelley Unwin on Coronation Street, admitted she was feeling emotional after winning the £20,000 jackpot.
Her eyes welling up with tears, she explained the money would mean a lot to her charity of choice – Christmas Dinners.
The charity is an annual project for communities to provide a Christmas Day for care leavers aged between 18 and 25.
Delighted to have won money for the organisation, Sally said: “I can't tell you how much this is going to make a difference to my charity.”
She added: "It just gives them hope and its very close to my heart.”
As tears formed in her eyes, she admitted to “getting quite emotional sorry”.
She added: “That is just phenomenal life-changing money for them.”
