Alesha Dixon jealous as Britain's Got Talent contestant 'gets off' with a harp

Simon was similarly speechless, telling the contestant: ‘God. That, I’ve got to tell you, don’t judge a book by its cover.’

It’s not the only bizarre audition the judges have come face-to-face with this series, after a masked magician tested Ant and Dec’s close bond

‘You must pay close attention to all sensations you may feel,’ the mysterious act said. ‘If you felt a touch please raise your right hand.’

The pair both raise their right hand, causing shock among the audiences and judges.

After a couple of similar tests, they were then asked to draw something on a board without the other seeing, with both of them penning ‘1989’ – the year they met.

It was spooky stuff.

However, some are considering that the contestant, who never revealed their face, could be BGT’s own Stephen Mulhern.

Hear us out.

It’s certainly a possibility, considering the star is a trained magician anyway, and even used his abilities throughout his years as a kids TV presenter, hosting shows like the Quick Trick Show and Tricky TV on CITV.

In fact, he was the youngest member to ever earn his place in the Magic Circle, a private society of magicians looking to improve their skills and abilities to dazzle their audiences (before later being kicked out).

Consider us intrigued.

Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight at 8pm on ITV.
