Top UK seaside resort hotels are giving away rooms for free – here’s how to get one | The Sun

HOTELS in Blackpool are so keen to fill rooms that they're giving them away for free.

Blackpool Promotions, a family-owned company, has an offer on at the moment where Brits are invited to stay at one of the group's four hotels for free.

Over the last few days, bargain hunters have been sharing their savings on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook.

One mum managed to book a hotel stay for two adults and one child for £0.08 for seven nights during February half term, and other savvy shoppers have snapped up similar bargains.

Blackpool Promotions Operations Manager, John Westhead told Sun Online Travel: "This deal can benefit everybody at this time of year, so we promoted it on social media and it just blew up – and I just don't know what to say."

There are no hidden costs or catches either.

But holidaymakers intending to jump on the deal will need to pay a £20 refundable deposit for each member of the party.

John, 45, said: "The £20 refundable deposit is to make sure guests stay and that they will come."

While it may seem too good to be true, the Sun Online Travel team tested the offer and found stays in Blackpool in January for £0.08 for a four-night stay for two adults.

The operations manager has revealed that the free deal is about to come to an end.
