The UK attraction with record-breaking water & sand play area plus 50 types of ice cream that costs just £2.50 to enter | The Sun

AN attraction in the UK has been compared to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory – and it even has one of Europe's biggest water play areas.

The Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall, Chester, was originally a dairy farm.

However, it was turned into a huge attraction following a £5million redevelopment in 2014.

It is also home to the largest ice cream parlour in the world, with the 10,000sqft parlour serving more than 50 different flavours including unique options such as Turkish Delight, Popping Candy and Donut.

Inside the park are a range of attractions for all ages too.

The Fun Factory is an indoor soft play area for toddlers, as well as The Loft which is for older kids, with a driving similar, jukebox and pool table.

Along with the huge ice cream parlour, there is also an ice cream drive-thru.

Don't worry if you want something savoury – snacks such as sausage rolls and hot dogs can be bought at the Pit Stop, along with pizza at the Pizza Piazza.

The Ice Cream Farm also has a number of events throughout the year including a breakfast with Hey Duggee and regular SEN Sessions with reduced guests and quieter attractions.

The attraction is open all year round, excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Tickets are cheap too – all-day entry passes cost £2.50, with a Rainy Day Promise giving you a free ticket if it rains for more than three hours.
