Lucky passenger reveals why it's good to be the LAST one off the plane

FREQUENT flyers will know that passengers are always clambering to be the first one off a plane – with people at the back standing up long before they can actually leave.

But one lucky passenger has revealed why it's a good thing to be the last person to get off a plane.

Reddit user u/aylzb took to the community sharing site to explain what happened to her when she was the last to disembark.

She shared a photo of her sat in the cockpit of a plane, which the pilots had allowed her to enter as she was the only person left onboard.

She wrote: "I was the last one to get off the plane. I asked if I could take a photo of the cockpit and the pilots invited me to sit in the seat and take a photo of me!

"I was so happy I cried afterwards, lol."

It's not just the potential for a peek into the cockpit that makes sitting at the back of the plane a good idea.

Seasoned traveller John Burfitt said that booking a seat at the back of the aircraft is the secret to a stress-free flight.

He explained that by booking the window seat in the back row of a plane next to the toilets, your journey can be as peaceful as possible.

Although some may fear the queues and subsequent smells may make the journey unbearable, John insists it is actually the most relaxing place to sit because no one is sat behind you so your seat won't get kicked or jolted.
