Xbox Live WARNING: Last chance to download Xbox One Gold free game bonus

Xbox One fans looking for something new to play can download a special free game bonus today on their Microsoft consoles. But time is running out to test out the latest Free Play Days titles from the Microsoft Store. For this weekend only, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can install three Microsoft selected titles at no extra charge. This includes Dead By Daylight, a horror game that continues to prove popular on Xbox One since its launch back in 2016.

This new deal was announced by the tech giant earlier this week and includes great news for horror fans.

While full access to the base game is available for the next 24-hours, gamers can also buy the special edition of Dead By Daylight for $15.

Anyone who decides to download Dead By Daylight for free and then purchase the full version will be able to keep all the progress they’ve made during the demo.

And that means being able to carry on their adventures, or nightmares, as the case might be.

The only downside to this new deal is that this Free Play Days event is only set to last a little longer on Xbox One.

Xbox Live Gold members can play all Free Play Days games until Sunday, February 9 at 11:59pm PST.

And for gamers in the UK, that means being able to play through the night, until 7:59am, on February 10.

“Take on the role of the stalker or the prey in the multiplayer horror game, Dead by Daylight: Special Edition,” a message from Microsoft confirms.

“Situational awareness is key for the survivors playing in third-person view, while the killer focuses on their target in first-person mode, all in ever-changing environments.”

Fans should note that Xbox Live Gold will be required to grab this latest deal from Microsoft and that Dead By Daylight is also available to play through Xbox Game Pass.

And as mentioned above, Dead By Daylight is not the only game available to play for free this weekend.

Following a new blog post from Microsoft, we also know that Surviving Mars and Secret Neighbour are also available to play during the same time frame.

Fans will also have the choice of purchasing the game at a reduced price during the free trial, although pricing will differ depending on which versions you choose to buy.

Secret Neighbor is another suspenseful Multiplayer Horror Game that tackles outwitting your OP, while Surviving Mars is all about building the perfect Martian city.

A message from Microsoft reads: “Surviving Mars – Build your city from the ground up while dealing with infrastructural issues, environmental concerns and individually simulated colonist behaviour, all on a planet without oxygen! Discover her secrets and build a sustainable society in this modern take on the bright futurism of the 1960s.

“Secret Neighbor – Break into your suspicious neighbour’s basement to rescue a missing friend. However, someone in your group is a traitorous Secret Neighbor in disguise.

“Collect keys and save your friend or separate, scare, and confuse those intruding in your house. Cooperation is essential but don’t trust anyone in this suspenseful multiplayer game.”

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can also download the new February free games, including TT Isle of Man on Xbox One and Fable Heroes from Xbox 360.
