Samsung has unveiled its latest weapon in its cellular arms race with Huawei and Apple. Its new Note 10+ phone pushes the size of the smartphone screen to extremes, with Samsung positioning the new 6.8-inch work handset as a ‘computer’. The Note model, which will cost €1,130 in Ireland, is Samsung’s last major device launch before it tries to relaunch its giant folding phone, the 7.3-inch Galaxy Fold. It comes ahead of next month’s launch of the iPhone 11. Apple is expected to release three new smartphones, with the addition of a third camera on the rear of the flagship model. See tech, page 5
