Samsung’s latest Galaxy Buds+ offer some of the best battery performance on the market, with these mini music makers able to keep on going for over 10 hours on a single charge. That’s mightily impressive and makes Apple’s AirPods – which last for around 5 hours – look pretty inferior.
However, Apple’s pricier AirPods Pro still hold one big advantage with the inclusion of noise-cancelling technology, which some would say is far more important than a bit of extra battery power.
Samsung has long been criticised for not bringing sound-blocking abilities to its earbuds and it seems the Korean firm may finally have listened. It’s already been widely reported that Samsung is about to launch some new wireless earbuds, dubbed Galaxy Buds Live, at an event next month.
Leaked pictures, which have appeared online, have shown a pretty unique bean-shaped design and numerous colour options which includes a very striking rose gold design.
Now a new leak has suggested that the Galaxy Buds Live will finally bring noise cancellation to Samsung’s range of wireless in-ear headphones. Posted on Twitter by top tipster WalkingCat, the tweet reveals what appears to be an official advert from Samsung.

The short clip shows the Galaxy Buds Live with a caption stating, “Keep the noise out. Let the sound in.”
There’s no confirmation from Samsung that their next audio products will feature noise cancellation but this has to be one of the biggest indications yet that this technology is finally on its way.
Another piece of good news is that some websites are speculating that the Buds Live could be much more affordable than Apple’s £259 AirPods Pro.
In fact, it’s thought the news Buds could cost around $150 (£120) and, if true, that could be a very tempting price. We’ll have to wait and see if any of these rumours become a reality but hopefully, there’s not too long to wait until we find out more.
Samsung has a major event scheduled for early next month where the firm is expected to show off a range of new devices including the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
A new Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Buds Live could also be revealed during this Unpacked keynote so it could be an exciting evening. Samsung’s Unpacked will take place on Wednesday, August 5 and Express.co.uk will bring you all the news from this event live as it happens.
