Samsung always reveals its new 4K and 8K TVs in January and the Korean firm hasn’t disappointed in 2021. We’ve just got our first glimpse of these stunning goggle boxes which Samsung has named Neo QLED. Along with the bezel-free design looking pretty incredible, what you’ll witness on the 4K and 8K screens should also impress.

Samsung says it is taking QLED technology to the next level via a new light source. This Quantum Mini LED tech is precisely controlled by Quantum Matrix Technology and a Neo Quantum Processor – a powerful picture processor optimized for Neo QLED.

All this means that the TV is able to offer ultra-fine and precise control of the densely packed LEDs, preventing blooming—and allowing viewers to enjoy content as its meant to be seen.

You’ll also find the dark areas of the picture appear darker and bright areas brighter which results in a more precise and immersive HDR experience.

Along with looking better, the Neo QLED should sound pretty epic as well with them featuring room-filling audio.

Samsung TV: Sneak peek at some of the QLED 8K feautres

Tucked behind the screen is Object Tracking Sound Pro which dynamically corresponds to the movement of objects on the screen. This basically means that as a plane flies from left to right in a movie, the sound will move in perfect sync across the display.

Another audio feature is something called SpaceFit Sound which analyses the installed TV’s physical environment and outputs immersive sound tailored specifically to the space.

That’s all sounds impressive but these 2021 TVs aren’t just about watching movies and Netflix on.

Samsung wants its TVs to be part of the home and is making big noises about what these gadgets are capable of.

The firm says that users will be able to workout thanks to Samsung Health with the latest technology even able to watch how you are exercising and offer help with posture in real-time, just like a personal trainer. The in-built Smart Trainer also provides feedback on form, helps you count your reps, and estimates calories burned.

Another bonus of these new TVs comes to anyone who loves to game.

With two new exclusive features, Samsung is delivering the ultimate TV gaming experience.

Super Ultrawide GameView gives gamers the option to play not only at the wide 21:9 aspect ratio, but even at the ultrawide 32:9 ratio.

The wider field of view ensures gamers don’t miss a moment of the action. And Game Bar lets players quickly monitor and adjust critical aspects of play—whether that’s switching aspect ratios, checking input lag, or connecting a headset.

Finally, there’s help with keeping in touch with family and friends. With Google Duo installed, consumers can use their phone to initiate a high-quality, high-speed video call that up to 32 people can join—no matter which operating system they’re using.

And with smart camera solutions, the camera can follow your movements. It will automatically zoom in and out so you’re just the right size, always in focus.

There’s no word on a release date or price for Samsung’s new TVs but expect more news in coming weeks.
