As we all continue to work from home you might be considering investing in some new equipment to boost your productivity. Right on cue, Samsung has revealed its next generation of pin-sharp monitors which bring some of its very best TV technology right to your desk.

These new screens come in all shapes and sizes including a compact 27-inch version and a desktop-busting 34-inch model. There should be a monitor for all budgets but if you want the best of the best then the new S8 should be top of your shopping list.

Not only does this display getting a striking design but it also provides users with a stunning Ultra-High Definition experience. The S8 is also capable of blazing-fast 10Gbps data transmission through its USB-C type port and the premium S80UA variant even offers up to 90W charging so your other gadgets can get a super-quick refill.

The S8 also provides a variety of connectivity features including USB 3.0 and a USB hub to provide enhanced usability and versatility.

Along with the S8, there’s also cheaper S7 and S6 variants which all include Intelligent Eye Care to help those long hours glued to the screen along with delivering more than 1 billion colours. Samsung says that things are enhanced even further by HDR 10 technology.

The S7 also packs a UHD screen and ultra-slim stand plus there’s a virtually borderless design which makes viewing content feel more immersive.

Finally, the S6 comes with a less-impressive QHD (2,560×1,440) resolution although expect this screen to be the cheapest of the bunch.

Speaking about its new screens, Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said: “As demand for higher resolution monitors continues to increase, Samsung plans to continue to lead the market by unveiling new products that meet our customers’ needs.

“Our 2021 High-Resolution lineup delivers dazzling picture quality and powers enhanced performance, all the while ensuring user comfort with a streamlined, eco-conscious design.”

There’s no word on a full release date or pricing but Samsung says its High-Resolution monitor lineup is available in a variety of models, sizes and specifications.
