Ahead of an event later this week, where Amazon could reveal new devices, the online retail giant has slashed the prices of a range of Kindle ereaders. The Kindle Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature Edition and Kindle Oasis have all received a big price cut with the deals announced on the same day that Amazon revealed it will be holding its second Prime Day sale of this year. If you’re not already an Amazon Prime member but want to grab one of the upcoming bargains that will be available from October 11 then you can sign-up for a free trial.

Amazon has slashed the prices of its Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature Edition and Kindle Oasis ereaders in a new limited-time sale.
One of the most eye-catching discounts available at the moment is on the Kindle Paperwhite, which has long been the best all-round ereader on the market.
Usually, the Kindle Paperwhite is priced from £129.99, but right now you can get this entry-level model with ads for £94.99.
Besides this Paperwhite, the new 16GB model Amazon has also got a price cut, with things reduced from £149.99 to £114.99.
The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition – which adds wireless charging, USB-C support, 32GB of storage and a front light that automatically adjusts – has also been reduced from £179.99 to £144.99.
