Google Maps users were baffled when they were asked whether they could buy cocaine at Home Bargains or Poundland.
People were confused that they were asked the question while browsing the app.
One posted to Reddit: "Really, cocaine? I was filling in some of the questions on Google Maps and it asked if you could buy cocaine at Home Bargains."
Another user later wrote: "No cocaine in Home Bargains? Try Poundland instead," when they were asked the same question.
Google Maps browsers are then giving the option of saying yes, no or not sure whether the Class A drug can be purchased at either of the discount stores.
One responder joked: "Well it is a hot commodity. We shouldn't deprive customers of it!"
Another added: "In the car park at night."
Others suggested that the surprising question was sparked by what other Google Maps users have said the stores sell.
One said: "Questions are probably based on what other users have indicated in responses or on the map.
"Maybe it really is a place where you can get it and someone wanted to share that info."

Other Reddit users quipped that the algorithm was thrown up by police looking to make a drugs bust.
"Cops are trying to trick you into making a confession," one joked.
It comes after Google Maps fans were left horrified when a man was caught making a rude gesture behind the wheel of his car.
And the firm's cameras also spotted a homeowner's rude message to the internet giant in his garden.
