Although these deals are clearly tempting it’s worth noting that a major update is expected from Google later this year.
The firm has already teased fans with a post on Twitter giving a glimpse of what’s to come with an image even reviling what appears to be a dual-lens camera.
This was shown alongside the words “Well, since there seems to be some interest, here you go! Wait ’til you see what it can do. #Pixel4”.
Now a new leaked image may have just revealed even more about the Pixel 4 XL.
The photo, which was posted on SlashLeaks, shows both the front and back of a device that is claiming to be Google’s next larger smartphone.
The photos reveal that dual-lens camera on the back of the phone and what appears to be a screen without a notch.
Google was criticised for its design on last years’ Pixel 3 XL which had an ugly black bar breaking deep into the display.
If this new render turns out to be true it could show that Google is returning to a more simplistic appearance on its new flagship.
One other thing that eagle-eyed Google fans may have spotted is the lack of fingerprint scanner.
Until now, Google has always placed this security sensor on the rear case but there’s no sign of it on the new Pixel 4.
That could mean this new call maker will have an embedded sensor under the screen or rely on Apple-style facial recognition to unlock the screen.
Other new features that could arrive on the Pixel 4 could include a faster processor, bigger battery and the inclusion of reverse wireless charging.
This clever battery boosting tech has become hugely popular in recent months with Huawei and Samsung devices now able to refill other phones and accessories by simply being placed directly on top of this new hardware.
Although there’s no official release date for the Pixel 4 we can expect to find out more in the autumn as this is when Google almost always pushes out its new updates.
