WWE legend Undertaker names 'freakish athlete' as strongest opponent he ever faced

The Dead Man has tore through everyone in his path including the likes of Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and even his brother Kane throughout his stunning 28-year career.

But Taker says his clashes with the “Freakish Athlete” are ones he will never forget.

The WWE icon and The Beast have had numerous battles over the years, starting with Lesnar’s first stint in wrestling during the early 2000s before he went on to become UFC heavyweight champion.

And despite being just 25 during those early battles, he left a massive impression on the veteran.

Speaking to Pastor Ed Young as part of the Wrastlin' series, when asked who was the strongest opponent he ever faced Undertaker said: “Lesnar was, especially his first-time in when he was still in his 20s.

“He was just a freakish athlete — he still is. But when he was in his 20s when he first came up, I mean, he was an NCAA National Champion and he defied what your mind would tell you.

“Because you would see him, he was 6’4’’, 285-290 [lbs] and you’d think there’s no way that a human being that size can move as fast.

“His single-leg or double-leg shot would be the same like someone who was 180 pounds, just really freakish.

“He was one — Kane is just incredibly strong. Mark Henry. Mark Henry is on another level.”

Brock returned to WWE in 2012 and shocked the world when he ended Undertaker’s 21-year undefeated streak at WrestleMania two years later.

The pair went on to have two more ferocious battles in 2015 before Lesnar captured the WWE Universal Title against Goldberg.

Roman Reigns defeated The Beast to claim the gold at SummerSlam in August, but Lesnar will get a chance to regain the strap at WWE’s Crown Jewel next month in a triple threat against the champ and Braun Strowman.

Meanwhile Undertaker will battle Triple H this Saturday at WWE’s Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia.
