Roman Reigns close friend Seth Rollins bursts into tears live on WWE RAW after the Big Dog announces cancer diagnosis

The Big Dog was forced into vacating his hard-earned Universal Championship after an eleven-year battle with Leukaemia returned.

The 33-year-old, who is a dad-of-three, left the crowd shocked with an emotional speech in Newark, New Jersey, US.

He told how he had his biggest fight ahead outside of the ring, and would be taking time away from the WWE.

But it was his Shield brother Rollins that left many devastated after he broke down in tears at the news.

Reigns, Rollins and Dean Ambrose could be seen at the top of the ramp fist-bumping in their usual iconic-style.

The trio are known as the biggest stable in the WWE, and three of the biggest stars in the wrestling promotion.

And 32-year-old Rollins could not hide his distress as he showed a companion-filled outpouring of grief.

WWE stars both past and present flocked to social media to pay tribute to Reigns and show their support.
