The Sun Racing team have been perusing the afternoon’s cards and believe this trio of longshots are bound for victory.
1.40 Redcar – Warrior’s Spirit
Hit the target at Carlisle last month and again ran well in a seller at this track a couple of weeks ago.
The visor is retained now and it would be no surprise to see him bang there in current form.
He’s only had four starts for trainer Alan Brown so there could be more to come, and based on his juvenile form he looks on a very good mark.

On a very competitive mark and showed much more last time out when fourth in a strong handicap at Haydock.
Looked to get a bit tired in the ground that day and conditions should be more suitable this time around.
Likely to get an easily lead and could be hard to catch under 7lb claimer who has won on him before.

3.15 Ayr – Son Of Feyan
Gets in at the bottom of the weights having been dropped 5lb since his last outing. However, that performance wasn’t devoid of promise as he came fourth before getting tired through lack of race fitness.
With that run behind him he could be capable of a lot better off a career low mark.
