Manchester City star Phil Foden becomes a father at just 18-years-old

The ace and sweetheart Rebecca Cooke, also 18, welcomed a tot, believed to be boy.

Phil — one of England’s hottest talents — is thought to live with parents Phil Snr and Claire in a £2million house he bought. Rebecca lives with her mother.

A source said: “Phil’s delighted about the baby and giving every support to Rebecca and their kid. She’s a few months younger and they have known each other a long time.

“Phil used to put loads of pictures on social media of him and Rebecca.  That stopped when he started getting near City’s first team.

“He has to concentrate on football. He may be a bit young to do that and set up home with Becca. But she and their baby will want for nothing.”

The overjoyed new dad posted pictures on the day of the birth of him cradling the tot — in a City blanket next to a matching teddy and balloons.

The midfielder, who joined the club at eight, made his first-team debut in November 2017.

Last May, days before turning 18, he became the youngest Premier League winner’s medal recipient.

His first goal came in a 3-0 Carabao Cup victory at League One Oxford last September.

Phil also has England caps at every level up to and including Under-21.

The teenager is said to have told City boss Pep Guardiola about his new arrival, now 1½ weeks old.

Rebecca was speaking to Phil on FaceTime when The Sun visited the Stockport home she shares with mum Melissa Poole, 44.

Rebecca showed our reporter the phone and said: “This is the dad. His manager knows.”

She declined further comment.

Phil is expected to be in City’s squad for today’s Premier League clash at home to Arsenal.
