Calciomercato claims the Red Devils are keen on bringing Fiorentina’s star centre-back to Old Trafford this month.
United’s defence has been leaking goals all season and Milenkovic could be the ideal man to tighten things up at the back.
However, Fiorentina themselves are looking for creativity in midfield.
And it’s believed the Serie A side have targeted Brazilian ace Pereira to inject some life into their build-up play.
The former Valencia loanee has struggled for first-team opportunities this season.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is apparently prepared to sacrifice Pereira in order to secure Milenkovic’s signature.
It appears United are targeting the Serb after Real Madrid reportedly entered the bidding for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Red Devils are long-term admirers of the Senegal international, who is valued at £90million.
Real are in the market for top-class reinforcements and are understood to be preparing a bid matching Napoli’s valuation.
