Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez transfer target of old club Colo Colo and River Plate in £17m deal after failed Inter loan – The Sun

ALEXIS SANCHEZ may have to find a new club at the end of the season and two options back in South America have surfaced.

Media in the Inter Milan winger's homeland report on Chilean side Colo Colo taking an interest in his future.

Arguably the biggest club in Chile, Colo Colo have won the Primera Division 32 times and had Sanchez on loan for the 2006/07 season following his move to Udinese.

And, according to local outlet Dale Albo, the Santiago club's interest was recently piqued by suggestions United will sell the flop forward.

Sanchez was brought to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January 2018 but failed to hit the ground running.

Hopes that his slow start was merely an adaptation period were dismissed with his subpar performances in his only full season at the club, which he left on loan after just five goals in 45 appearances.

This year's spell in Milan has gone no better with injury issues and poor form allowing just two starts in Serie A before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus.

It is said Sanchez will return to Manchester once the season ends with Inter looking elsewhere to add to their attack.
