MANCHESTER UNITED fans have reacted with sheer delight as Paul Pogba revealed his desire to quit the club.
An astonishing 73 per cent of more than 1,000 Red Devils supporters said they hope the mercurial midfielder leaves this summer, in our exclusive poll.
That means just a quarter of the club's fanbase included in the poll want the £89million man to remain at the club.
Pogba, 26, has revealed he wants a "new challenge" amid talks of him joining Real Madrid in a monster £150million deal this summer.
The World Cup-winning midfielder recently claimed: "After everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well…
"I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.
"Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well.
"For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great, some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.
"After everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.
"I am thinking of this: To have a new challenge somewhere else."
The comments have not gone down at all well in the Manchester United boardroom who are furious with his public comments.
The club are willing to let the midfielder but will only sell for a massive offer, with £150m the expected asking price.
And fans are evidently echoing the sentiments of the board, with only a quarter seemingly disappointed to see the former £89m signing from Juventus leave.
Should United sell Pogba, they're likely to reinvest in the likes of Joao Felix, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kalidou Koulibaly.
