The American YouTuber made millions when he fought to a draw with rival British YouTube sensation Olajide "KSI" Olatunji in August last year.
And while their "fight" drew criticisms in many quarters, there is no doubt it made brilliant business sense.
It sold 800,000 pay-pay-views.
But it's fair to say Paul didn't know what hit him when he took some body shots from featherweight boxing prospect Ryan Garcia.
Despite Paul wearing a body belt, after a successive of power punches the 23-year-old was left crumpled on the floor.
Of course the power displayed by Garcia, who didn't go easy on Paul, is a level above what other social media stars would be able to supply.
Garcia was appearing on Paul's "Impaulsive" podcast earlier this week.
The 20-year-old boxer is undefeated in 17 fights as a professional.
Paul, meanwhile, is believed to be in the process of arranging a rematch against KSI this year.
And he has claimed his Brit rival will not make it past the second round of the rematch.
Speaking to TMZ Sports Paul, who has 18.5million YouTube subscribers, said: “I think (KSI’s) a b****. I’m going to knock him out.
“I want (the rematch) to be in LA at the Staples Centre, or maybe at Madison Square Garden.
“I'm gonna knock him out…I said that the last time and didn't make it happen but next fight I'm absolutely gonna knock him out. He won’t make it past two rounds."
KSI claimed after the fight that an injury to his hand left him unable to throw the left hook as regularly as he would have wanted.
He said: “I didn’t do enough left hooks. That was my problem – I f****d up.
"If I did more left hooks I probably would’ve dropped (Paul).
“After round two I walked back and I was there like, "ah my left hands f****d, I f*****d up my left hand.
"I shouldn’t have let it get to the judges, fair play to Logan, he was a tough opponent he made me work, not like Joe (Weller), Logan made me work 100 per cent.
“But the good thing out of all of this, I now know how Logan boxes, it’s calm, before I had nothing.
“I had to just use round one and two to download all the information on how this guy boxes.
"Now I have six rounds of it, so Logan you are f****d – you are finished, the next time I get you, you’re finished."
It is rumoured the rematch could be as soon as next month with KSI already agreeing the fight to be in the US.
