ITALY Euro 2020 hero Federico Chiesa reportedly turned down a move to Liverpool last year in favour of joining Juventus.
Chiesa signed for Juventus from Fiorentina on a two-year loan last year, which will be made permanent in the summer.
The move becomes permanent for a reported £34million initially, with a further £8.5m in add-ons.
Liverpool on the other hand had a £60m agreement with Fiorentina last year, but the wide-man snubbed the chance to join the Reds in order to force a move to Juve.
Transfer expert Niccolo Ceccarini told RTV38: "Fiorentina had reached an agreement with Liverpool for 70 million euros (£60m), but the negotiations did not go through due to the boy's desire to go to Juventus."
The Reds haven't exactly struggled without Chiesa, but would boast an even more formidable front line with the 24-year-old in their ranks.
A forward line compromising Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota AND Federico Chiesa would be quite some team.
But now a different Premier League side have been linked with a move for one of Europe's hottest properties.

Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in an £84m move for Chiesa, as are German giants Bayern Munich.
Chiesa even sent Blues fans into meltdown last month after following the club and it's key stars on social media.
Chiesa, 24, followed Chelsea's Instagram account – as well as stars Christian Pulisic, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Saul and ex-Chelsea legend Eden Hazard.
His social media activity has fans wondering about a potential move to West London.
Chiesa scored for Italy in the semi-final of Euro 2020 and was one of the stars of the tournament.
The forward started the final against England too, which Italy won on penalties.
He also scored the only goal of the game as Juventus beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Champions League earlier this season.
In total he's scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in 59 games since Juventus, instead of Liverpool.
