Khabib Nurmagomedov to WWE? Cruiserweight star Lio Rush responds to 'fake fights' jibe

Rush currently performs on the 205 Live cruiserweight roster and also manages Monday Night Raw superstar Bobby Lashley.

The 23-year-old took offence to comments made by Khabib on social media earlier today after he revealed he has been contacted by WWE.

Khabib, 30, tweeted: "WWE ask me to jump inside. What do you think guys? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights."

His future in UFC is up in the air following his post-fight actions after defeating Conor McGregor last Saturday, in which he and the Irishman have been suspended for ten days.

And he has wasted no time in finding a new enemy after incuring the wrath of Rush following his post.

Rush tweeted: "These “#FakeFights" will have you crawling back to UFC after a trip to hell.

"HELL IN A CELL! #RealCage."

Khabib has threatened to quit the UFC should his team-mate Zubaira Tukhugov be banned for hitting the Notorious in the Las Vegas brawl.

While he also told the UFC they can keep his purse for the fight against the two-weight world champion, with the Eagle yet to be paid with the Nevada Athletic Commission withholding his pay until further review.
