John Gosden and Frankie Dettori out to re-write history books again as Stradivarius to face seven in Goodwood Cup

STAR stayer Stradivarius is strong odds-on to enter the racing history books in Tuesday's Goodwood Cup.

John Gosden's colt will face six rivals in the feature on Day 1, as he looks to pass Double Trigger's record of three wins in the contest.

According to the layers it's a two-horse race, with Nayef Road and Spanish Mission back in at 16 and 18-1 respectively.
