Conor McGregor necks glasses of whiskey on 'little night out' in NY and cuddles girlfriend Dee as UFC star calls for Khabib rematch

CONOR McGREGOR enjoys a boozy night out in New York with his girlfriend Dee Devlin after calling out Khabib Nurmagomedov for a blockbuster rematch.

The UFC superstar, 30, jetted to the Big Apple from Chicago and continued his St Patrick's Day celebrations by necking glasses of whiskey with the mother of his two children Dee, 31.

Smartly dressed and surrounded by Irish flags in a pub, the pair could not keep their hands off each other as they posed for pictures.

McGregor uploaded a set of photos to Instagram with the caption: "Little night out in New York ☘️"

The Notorious, who was arrested in Miami on March 12 after allegedly smashing a phone out of a British fan's hand, had spent St Patrick's Day leading a parade in Chicago.

During a promotion for his own Irish whiskey brand, Proper No Twelve, he told fans he is desperate to win back his lightweight title from Khabib.

McGregor lost via a fourth-round submission at UFC 229 at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada last October and has not fought since.

I didn't give him enough respect.

The Irishman insists he underestimated his Russian opponent and went into the bout demotivated.

He said: "He's a formidable opponent, wrestles bears since he was a kid. He's put a lot of time into his stand-up work. He was a lot sharper than I anticipated he was going to be. I've got to respect that. It was his big moment.

"It's easy to do this once. It's very easy for someone to be given something and do it just one time – you put your absolute all into it.

"But to do it time after time, year after year, that's when the motivation dips, when the dedication lacks, and that's when people creep up.

"That's what I think has happened here. I didn't give him enough respect, I got caught with that overhand. If I was switched on I wouldn't have."

REMATCH DEMAND

McGregor and Khabib's showdown descended into chaos when a post-fight brawl erupted.

The Notorious was given a six-month ban and Nurmagomedov a nine-month suspension for their part in the ugly melee.

McGregor, who has been called out for a bare knuckle boxing fight with rival Paulie Malignaggi, says Khabib must agree to a rematch to finally end their feud.

He said: "I'm very confident, very eager, very in shape.

"If there's dispute, there must be a rematch.

"There's been dispute in my last one. I slapped his brother and cousin around on top of the cage. This is not over."
