THIS Chelsea star looks unrecognisable as an adorable child with long hair – but can you work out who it is?

The player loved sport from a young age and his mother described him as having "an addiction to the ball" as a kid.

He used to play in the family home's living room, reportedly making his parents worry about where they were placing fragile items.

The 23-year-old began making his way to the top by going to his school team's training sessions with his father.

And once he started to play outside his home, there was no stopping him, signing for an academy in his homeland aged just eight.

He joined Porto but got tired of the travelling to and from the training ground, eventually leaving his town of Viseu to move nearer for football reasons.

He captained youth sides at the club that contained the likes of Man Utd star Diogo Dalot and Portugal's No.1 goalkeeper Diogo Costa.

However, the Chelsea attacker left Porto after falling out of favour, then signing for rivals Benfica and his senior career took off.

After breaking into the first-team, his impressive performances saw him earn a big money move to Atletico Madrid.

The Portuguese star won LaLiga with them in the 2020/21 season and has found the back of the net 34 times in 131 games for them.
