Eight-times Olympic gold medal winner Usain Bolt could be available to play A-League pre-season matches this year if he ticks all the boxes with the Central Coast Mariners.
Physical: Usain Bolt’s readiness to play will be assessed before he suits up for the Mariners.
Bolt is due to arrive in Gosford later this month to trial with the club, but will need to impress conditioning staff as well as coach Mike Mulvey to earn a contract.
"That will be our first question of the strength and conditioning department. Once they give him the tick that he's physically capable then he'll be available for selection through any of the pre-season matches," Mariners chief executive Shaun Mielekamp said.
