Barcelona send scout to sound out Neymar about stunning Nou Camp return

Paris Saint-Germain stunned the football world when they snatched the Brazilian superstar by meeting his £198million release clause.

But Catalunya Radio claim Barca sent representative Andre Cury to Brazil to see if Neymar is open to coming back to the club.

Their attempts to bring back their golden boy have been ongoing, with Lionel Messi speaking highly of his former team-mate last month.

Cury reportedly met Neymar's father – who helps manage his son's future – in London in November.

The latest round of talks apparently involved Pini Zahavi and Alvaro Costa, whose dad Pep is Barcelona's player liaison officer.

PSG have continued to flaunt their excessive wealth despite the threat of Financial Fair Play sanctions.

But if Uefa do decide to up the pressure on overspending clubs, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe could end up becoming available.

Neymar was back in Brazil during the Ligue 1 summer break.

But PSG are back in action tonight in a League Cup quarter final against Guingamp.

The Brazilian genius will be oping for better luck than he had at the weekend, when his new dreadlocks fell out after the game against GSI Pontivy.
