TOTTENHAM are bidding for revenge as they head to Munich for their final Champions League group game.

Spurs – then under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino – were humiliated 7-2 by the German champions earlier in the campaign.

But after a superb start under Jose Mourinho and qualification already ensured, it could be a cracker in Bavaria.

  • SERGE AURIER has shelved plans to leave Tottenham Hotspur after positive discussions with Jose Mourinho, reports claim.

    The news coming out of France says the defender was concerned he would not be able to gain regular minutes under Mourinho.

    However, Mourinho has now told the right-back is part of his plans for the future and rates him as one of the Premier League's best in his position.

  • BURNLEY Supporters Group have released a statement in response to an incident of alleged racial abuse which took place at London Stadium on Saturday.

    A teenage fan was ejected from the ground for an incident involving Spurs' Heung-min Son and the group are now aiding investigations into the matter.

    The statement read: “Both clubs and Lancashire Police are supporting the investigation by the Metropolitan Police and our club to contact the supporter ejected with a view to him attending an enforced educational programme, run in conjunction with Kick It Out.

    “Burnley FC Supporters Group has a commitment to eradicate discrimination in football and to promote equality, inclusion and diversity, is fully supportive of Burnley Football Club’s zero tolerance policy towards any kind of discrimination.”

  • TROY PARROTT has certainly made an impression on Jose Mourinho during his short time at the club.

    That's no small achievement given Mourinho's adverse approach to giving youth it's head in the past.

    The 17-year-old's quality has also not been lost on John O'Shea who believes his compatriot has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

    O'Shea told RTE: “It is really obvious there is a lot of hype about Troy and Mourinho has obviously seen something in training.

    “Whether it is his personality or his physicality. You are not going to be able to play in the Premier League if you're physically not able to cope with it.

    “Pochettino had him training with the first team too. If you're impressing Mourinho and Pochettino, you must be doing something right.”

  • WITH Champions League qualification already secure it's likely Jose Mourinho will ring the changes against Bayern Munich tomorrow.
