Brainteasers are a great way to push the mind to its limits. They can come in many different forms.
Some brainteasers ask you to answer a riddle whilst some ask you to find the odd one out.
This brainteaser by Gergely Dudas is a spot-the-difference brainteaser. There are two similar-looking scenes above.
The user’s task is to try and spot the five differences in the two images in less than 10 seconds.
Did you spot the five differences? No worries if not, the answers are below.
The first and most obvious difference between the two scenes is that the pumpkin sign is spelt differently in the top image than it is in the bottom image.
Secondly, a large pumpkin at the bottom of the scene is a different colour from the same pumpkin in the other image.
Furthermore, the crack in the middle of the fence is present in the top image, but not in the bottom.
The final two differences are on the right-hand side of the images. In the top graphic, the bird is wearing a blue-rimmed hat, but in the bottom image, the same bird is wearing a yellow-trimmed hat.
Meanwhile, there is a pumpkin in the bottom right-hand corner which has a stalk in the bottom image that is lacking in the same pumpkin in the top image.
As well as providing a distraction on a morning commute or in a waiting room, brainteasers and other brain puzzles such as crosswords and sudoku could help keep the mind sharper for longer.
